Eloy Inos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Editor\u2019s Note: The following is the text of Guam Speaker Judith T. Won Pat\u2019s Weekly Address that she issued yesterday.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Buenas yan Hafa Adai!<\/p>\n<p>Today, we say goodbye to a great man.\u00a0 It is with a heavy heart that I join the people of Guam and ask the people of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands to accept our deepest condolences for the loss of their statesman, Gov. Eloy Inos.\u00a0The loss of such a great leader cannot be consoled, but his passion for his island and his people won\u2019t soon be forgotten. As CNMI\u2019s governor, he will be remembered for his strong leadership and unwavering commitment to the people and to the islands.\u00a0As a friend to Guam and the rest of Micronesia, Gov. Inos will be remembered as an active partner in the effort to deepen and secure democracy for our region.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Inos\u2019 devotion to ensuring the welfare of his people earned the respect and admiration of countless communities in the CNMI and throughout Micronesia.\u00a0His untimely passing has left CNMI without one of its most selfless and dedicated leaders.\u00a0This loss will be greatly felt not only in the CNMI, but also here in Guam.<br \/>\nOn behalf of\u00a0I Mina\u2019 Trentai Tres Na Liheslaturan Gu\u00e5han, I send our sincerest condolences.\u00a0 Our thoughts and prayers are with Governor Inos\u2019s family and the people of the CNMI during this difficult time.<\/p>\n<p>Saina Ma\u2019ase.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaker Judith T.
