Sun Palace will go for a sweep tomorrow and is likely to retain its immaculate mark as it faces cellar dweller Chow Time (0-4) in the last elimination round match. Lob City (3-1) routed Chow Time, 41-11, last Saturday.

Kyla Ito and Mikky Kautz scored 10 points apiece, while Madi Alegre added 9 in handing Chow Time its fourth loss.

Lob City set up the rout after taking an 18-5 lead at the end of the first half.

In the other women’s division match last Saturday, Sun Palace leaned on Diane Pablo’s 21 points to beat Kagman (1-3).

Pablo dropped 16 of her total points in the second half to foil Kagman’s comeback bid. The Marianas High School standout scored 8 straight markers at one point in the second frame to keep Sun Palace in control of the match.

In Sun Palace’s other victory last week, it was Irish Pagarao who starred in the victory. The lefty guard fired a game-high 28 points to power Sun Palace to an 8-point win.

Pagarao registered 20 markers in the first half, which ended with Sun Palace holding on to a 30-27 advantage. Pagarao then got some help from her teammates in the second half to gain more cushion en route to Sun Palace’s third victory.

SATURDAY
First Game
Lob City 41—Ito 10, M.
