The 6JMS Mafia II escaped with an 8-7 win over the Oleai Team Fearless to move within striking distance of Fanihi Thursday B Division leader VFW Dart Vader in the continuation of action in the Winter\/Spring season of the Bud Light Saipan Electronic Darts Association last week.<\/p>\n
The slim victory improved the Mafia\u2019s record to 61-29, three wins behind division leader VFW Dart Vader\u2019s 64-26 slate. Team Fearless dropped to 35-55 for sixth spot. The Doro\u2019s Life After Darts are also not far behind at 57-33 for third place, while 6JMS Ta-Chagi Talo is of distant fourth at 40-50.<\/p>\n
Doro\u2019s Alamo Dragons (38-52), Jokers Preba Darts (34-56) and Jokers Parakeyu (31-59) complete the standings placing fifth, seventh and eighth.<\/p>\n
Mafia II could have overtaken the Dart Vader for the top spot but they could not easily dispatch Team Fearless. They won three of the next five matches to break a 4-all count and move a win away from claiming the victory.<\/p>\n
Aldebert Lizama and Joker Camacho delivered in the final Partners Half-It event, giving Mafia II the eighth win it needed.<\/p>\n
Doro\u2019s Dragons also squeezed out an 8-7 win over Ta-Chagi Talo, while the Dart Vader trounced Preba Darts, 12-3, and the Life After Darts silenced Parakeyu, 11-4, in the other matches.<\/p>\n
