A group of investors is planning to construct this year a $15.5-million, 11-storey condotel or condominium hotel on Isla Drive near Whispering Palms School in Navy Hill. <\/p>\n
Prime Pacific Properties Inc. is applying for a conditional use permit application with the Commonwealth Zoning Board for its project\u2014Beacon Hill Condominium.<\/p>\n
With a site area of 14,632.97 square meters, Beacon Hill Condominium will have 68 guestroom units with swimming pool at the ground level. There will be seven units of three-storey villas with swimming pool, and eight units of two-storey villas with swimming pool.<\/p>\n
Christopher F. Fryling, president of N15 Architecture Co. Inc., filed the application for Prime Pacific Properties.<\/p>\n
Fryling told Saipan Tribune last night that Prime Pacific Properties is composed of a group of investors, mostly Americans. He disclosed that he is one of the investors.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re going after the upper level market in Garapan,\u201d said Fryling, explaining that they are targeting those in the middle\u2014the executives, managers, consultants, and others.<\/p>\n
A condotel or condo hotel is a condominium but is operated as a hotel. <\/p>\n
Fryling said if all permits are obtained, they are planning to immediately start construction this year.<\/p>\n
The Zoning Board, chaired by Diego C. Blanco, is going to hold a public hearing on Prime Pacific Properties Inc.\u2019s request for conditional use permit at 5pm today, Thursday, at its conference room located at Joeten Dandan Commercial Building.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
