Calling all vocal and instrumental solos, duets, and ensembles in Guam and beyond!<\/p>\n
It\u2019s the time of year for the region\u2019s largest music event\u2014the 12th Tumon Bay Music Festival. <\/p>\n
Events include the following:<\/p>\n
-Choral and hand bell festival – March 3 and 4<\/p>\n
-Solo and small ensemble festival – March 5<\/p>\n
-Pop concert \u201cjazz, rock, and beyond\u201d – March 6<\/p>\n
-Band and orchestra festival – March 7 and 8<\/p>\n
-Finale concert and award ceremony – March 12<\/p>\n
This educationally enriched music event features instrument-specific seminars and lectures, school performance visits, and performance opportunities for musicians of all ages. <\/p>\n
Individual singers and instrumentalists can also sign up for:<\/p>\n
-Festival massed choir<\/p>\n
-2016 festival honor bands (for middle and high school students)<\/p>\n
-Tumon Bay international wind orchestra<\/p>\n
