In its effort to advance post secondary education in the CNMI, the Northern Marianas College Foundation has announced that its signature event, the Annual NMC Foundation Open Golf Tournament, will be held on April 30 on the west course of the Laolao Bay Golf Resort. <\/p>\n
This will mark the 13th year of the tournament and falls on NMC\u2019s 35th anniversary. It is a pivotal year for the college as it continues its recovery from Typhoon Soudelor, which damaged nearly half of the campus.<\/p>\n
The NMC Foundation is composed of community volunteers committed to elevating higher education opportunities for CNMI students. \u201c<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Northern Marianas College Foundation is excited to announce our 13th Annual NMC Golf Tournament. This year marks a milestone as we join NMC in celebrating 35 years of continued commitment to providing higher education that is accessible to all students within the Commonwealth,\u201d says NMC Foundation president Mable Ayuyu. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe are thankful for the continued support of members in our community, members of our island\u2019s golf associations and businesses,\u201d Ayuyu added.<\/p>\n
Funds generated from this event will be used to support the college\u2019s various education programs, especially NMC\u2019s School of Business.<\/p>\n
The entrance fee for the tournament is only $100 per player. Interested players are also invited to bring their family, friends, and playing partners for a fantastic day of fun and fundraising for a good cause. There will be six flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Seniors, and Ladies.<\/p>\n
