Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Freddie Pelisamen exploded for 37 points to power Ghasias Brothers to a 93-81 win over Mobil\/JP World in the lone game completed in the DL Corp Invitational Basketball League Season 5 last Saturday at the San Antonio court.<\/p>\n<p>The victory was the first for Ghasias Brothers, which also played in the league\u2019s opening day two weeks ago and led Kauila Enterprises, 59-50, before their match was stopped in the third quarter due to rain.<\/p>\n<p>Against Mobil\/JP World, which prevailed in the league\u2019s opener versus the defending champion San Antonio, 85-69, Ghasias managed to wrap up the match and rode on Pelisamen\u2019s steady shooting to deny the former the early lead in the nine-team field.<\/p>\n<p>Pelisamen poured 9 points in the first period to lift Ghasias to a 19-12 advantage. Pelisamen added 6 more in the second, but the quarter belonged to Dan Barcinas, who knocked in 10 points, including two triples, to keep Ghasias in the driver\u2019s seat at the break, 44-39.<\/p>\n<p>At the resumption of the match, Pelisamen and Barcinas were still on target, but this time they also drew help from Marvin Rabauliman and Jack Lizama to give Ghasias its biggest lead, 68-52. Barcinas drilled his third triple of the night, padding Ghasias lead to as much as 16 before  Mobil\/JP World made a little headway in the last two minutes of that period behind Allen Dizon and Ignacio Borja.  The two Mobil\/JP World players scored their team\u2019s last 10 markers in the third canto to bring the deficit down to 12, 59-71, going into the final frame.<\/p>\n<p>However, Ghasias protected the double-digit advantage in the fourth quarter, as Mobil\/JP World failed to neutralize Pelisamen in the closing period. Pelisamen fired 12 points in the fourth, making most of them off fastbreak plays, as Mobil\/JP World turned the ball over several times early in that frame and the Ghasias gunner converted the errors into points.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, last Saturday\u2019s second game between Hite Jinro and CES Electronics was rained out in the first period.<\/p>\n<p>Ghasias 93 \u2014 F.
