A former firefighter was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a minor girl who was sleeping at a residence in Navy Hill on Saturday. <\/p>\n
Jergerson Techur Koshiba, 42, was arrested on Saturday night for sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n
At a hearing yesterday, Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho imposed a $50,250 cash bail and appointed assistant public defender Matthew Meyer as counsel for Koshiba. Assistant attorney general Barbara Cepeda appeared for the government.<\/p>\n
Preliminary hearing will be on March 8 at 1:30pm.<\/p>\n
Police Detective Vincent Igisaiar stated in his report that preliminary investigation showed that the girl was sleeping on the living room couch when Koshiba allegedly touched her private parts.<\/p>\n
The girl was awakened and ran for fear to the bedroom, where her mother was sleeping. The girl told the mother what happened.<\/p>\n
The mother reported the incident to the police.<\/p>\n
