\u201cWe are very proud that Senator Bernie Sanders has won a number of crucial primary states,\u201d said Guam for Bernie Sanders organizer Julian Janssen. \u201cHis resounding victories in his home state of Vermont, Oklahoma, Minnesota, and the important swing state of Colorado underscores Bernie\u2019s strong support among young adults, progressives, and independents, and his viability as a candidate for President.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the general election, the winning candidate for president has won Colorado 80 percent of the time since 1976.<\/p>\n
In each of the national polls since the beginning of February that place Sanders and Clinton against Donald Trump, Sanders has outperformed Clinton, by on average, 5 percentage points.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany supporters of Bernie Sanders believe that he is more likely to fight for the interests of working families, including providing Medicare to all Americans, free tuition at public colleges, working for a fairer distribution of taxation, and getting money out of national politics,\u201d said Janssen.<\/p>\n
Clinton had a narrow success in Massachusetts. In addition, Clinton claimed a number of wins in several southern states, which are perennial strongholds for the Republican Party, and American Samoa.
