Sixto Igisomar\u2019s office.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation is extending its gratitude to the Workforce Investment Agency for giving EVM volunteers the opportunity to be a part of their disaster dislocation grant program.  <\/p>\n<p>Director Rose Smith said, &#8220;There are no words that can fully express how much we at Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation appreciates WIA partnership.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>EVM commends Department of Labor Secretary Edith DeLeon Guerrero and Job Replacement Donyale De Leon Guerero for handling their jobs in a professional manner. \u201cDeep gratitude and thankfulness for their jobs well-performed is sincerely expressed,\u201d said Smith.<\/p>\n<p>The disaster dislocation program is making a difference in the lives of the EVM staff as well as benefitting the clients they are aiding. EVM staff is receiving much needed training and financial assistance.  Through this, full-time staff is now available to serve clients on a daily basis, including weekends. <\/p>\n<p>EVM staff and volunteers have worked a total of 6,620.50 hours to assist clients, sort out donations, off-load containers, and distribute donated items.  <\/p>\n<p>Below are just some quotes from hardworking WIA staff that, in turn, were helped financially while working at EVM.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m so thankful for WIA for supporting us volunteers at EVM to be on payroll trainees. WIA you&#8217;re such a blessing to us at EVM. Thank you so much,&#8221; said Rufina Angui. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;WIA helped me financially to take care of myself. WIA was able to assist me to get computer class, and it was my first time to learn about computers,&#8221; said Topie Paongo.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;WIA is a blessing to us. Because of their assistance I am able to support my family and also can continue to assist people with their needs.
