Manglona has granted the request of a Missouri-based company that had supplied dialysis and consumables and equipment to the Commonwealth Health Center to appear and be heard regarding its claim for restitution from Melvin G. Ada.

Ada is a former Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. employee who was slapped with 12.7 years in prison for stealing over $1.7 million from CHCC that was intended for the Missouri company Midwest Medical Supply Co. LLLC.

For “good cause having been shown” and there being no objection from the parties, Manglona granted Midwest Medical Supply’s request.

Manglona ordered that MMS may appear through counsel at the March 11, 2016, restitution hearing and present testimony by video conferencing related solely to the issue of restitution for the company.

MMS counsel Richard W.
