Hundreds of students from both private and public schools throughout the Marianas gathered to compete in categories that tested their knowledge of speaking, reading, writing, and singing in the Chamorro language. <\/p>\n<p>The theme of the competition was &#8220;I Fino\u2019 CHamoru: I Guinaha-ta, Iyo-ta yan Ta Fan\u00e1na\u2019I (The Chamorro Language: Our Abundance and Ours to Share with One Another).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Below is the list of winners of the 2016 Chamorro Language Competition:<\/p>\n<p>I.
