{"id":223892,"date":"2016-03-24T06:06:06","date_gmt":"2016-03-23T20:06:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=223892"},"modified":"2016-03-24T06:06:06","modified_gmt":"2016-03-23T20:06:06","slug":"teenager-arrested-sexual-abuse-minor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/teenager-arrested-sexual-abuse-minor\/","title":{"rendered":"Teenager arrested for sexual abuse of minor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police arrested on Tuesday in As Lito a 19-year-old male who allegedly engaged in sex with his 15-year-old girlfriend twice in the Garapan area.<\/p>\n<p>Ashiqur Rahaman, 19, also known as Simon Kosam, was arrested for sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree, sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, and assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p>At a bail hearing yesterday, Superior Court Associate Judge David A. Wiseman imposed a $25,000 cash bail<\/p>\n<p>Chief public defender Douglas Hartig was appointed as counsel for Rahaman. Assistant attorney general Chester Hinds appeared for the government. <\/p>\n<p>Police Detective Myron O.
