(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Trench Tech will kick off the 2016 season next month with the staging of Rites of Passage 19: Seek and Destroy on April 22 at the Royal Taga Hall of Saipan World Resort.<\/p>\n<p>One title fight, 11 supporting MMA bouts, and three kickboxing matches are featured in Trench Tech\u2019s offerings. The title bout will be an all-Guam affair as Ryan \u201cThe Predator\u201d Toves of High Blood Pressure takes on Spike 22\u2019s Rob Wusstig for the lightweight (155lbs) championship belt.<\/p>\n<p>For the kickboxing matches, Trench Tech\u2019s Dicky \u201cScrappy Doo\u201d Feria will open the night as he challenges Ultimate Martial Arts Guam\u2019s Chris \u201cKarate Hottie\u201d San Nicolas in a 150-lb catch weight. The two other K1 fights will have another Ultimate Martial Arts Guam bet in Jayvin \u201cThe Prodigy\u201d Reyes battling Team No Team\u2019s Marc Catindig at 135lb and Trench Tech\u2019s Jordan \u201cManglona\u201d squaring up anew against Ultimate Martial Arts Guam\u2019s Ethan \u201cTyphoon\u201d Reyes.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, independent fighter Timmy Salas and Taga Tech\u2019s Jonrey \u201cIllest\u201d Gilles will have their debuts at the octagon cage as they collide in the first MMA bout of the night. Up next will be the 125-lb duel between Team No Team\u2019s Noel Sanchez and Ground Fu\u2019s Eric \u201cThe Sand Man\u201d Reyes, while the third MMA tiff will have another independent fighter in Vince Torres challenging Guam Muay Thai\u2019s Khalil \u201cK-Nunu\u201d Toves.<\/p>\n<p>Jay \u201cTabi\u201d Muna will return to MMA when he takes on Ground Fu\u2019s Shane Torres, while Jones Langu of Red Ants Academy will also be back on the eight sides when he faces High Blood Pressure\u2019s Frank Meno in a 155-lb bout. Trench Tech\u2019s \u201cSloppy\u201d Joe Lee will have the same catch weight (155lbs) when he meets independent fighter Allen \u201cThe Samurai\u201d Cepeda, who will have his ROP debut.<\/p>\n<p>Also seeing action in ROP for the first time is Guam Muay Thai\u2019s Justin\u201dIchi Banger\u201d Quichocho who will go up against Zalaka\u2019s Bradley \u201cKaboom\u201d Manalo, while the latter\u2019s stablemate Andrew \u201cTop Gun\u201d Sablan will take on Ground Fu\u2019s Juan Lizama.<\/p>\n<p>The last three supporting bouts will have the heavyweights as Hit Shot\u2019s Derek \u201cHot Shot\u201d Naog duels High Blood Pressure\u2019s Chris Tabligan at 170lbs; Vince \u201cThe Big Time\u201d Lujan, also of High Blood Pressure, battles Ultimate Martial Arts\u2019 Camilo \u201cThe Beast\u201d Noket at 180lbs; and independent fighter Ryan\u201dTtrobz\u201d Ngirbabul faces Guam Muay Thai\u2019s Marc \u201cDos Ekkis\u201d Vidaurri at 205 lbs.<\/p>\n<p>The roster of bouts in ROP 19 is subject to changes, while Trench Tech also named seven standby fighters. The list includes Angel Palacios, Slade Adelbai, Kyle Paulino, Jeff Mesa, Ray Duenas, Vincent Campos, and Roque Martinez.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for ROP 19 will soon be sold in selected establishments.
