Superior Court Associate Judge David A. Wiseman imposed today, Wednesday, a one-year imprisonment sentence on former Department of Public Safety deputy commissioner Ambrosio T. Ogumoro for his conviction on three felonies and six misdemeanors. <\/p>\n
Wiseman also ordered the 57-year-old Ogumoro to pay a $3,500 fine, $100 court costs, and restitution to be determined later.
\nAfter serving the prison term, the defendant will be placed on probation for three years. He was required to perform 300 hours of community work service.<\/p>\n
The judge allowed Ogumoro to start serving the prison term at the Department of Corrections after two weeks.<\/p>\n
