(Contributed Photo)\" width=\"100\" height=\"74\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0 U10&#8217;s Young Guns smoked the Little Rollers, 20-10, in the Rollers Basketball Club&#8217;s inaugural Mini-Rascals Youth Basketball Tournament U10 opener, while the U12 age division&#8217;s Hoops torched Young Guns, 31-15, in the second pairing.<\/p>\n<p>U14&#8217;s Fast And Tough, meanwhile, had to forfeit to Hoops in the late feature. All games were played at the Garapan Basketball Court.<\/p>\n<p>J.P. Cruz carried the torch for U10&#8217;s Young Guns with 8 points in the first half that helped then assert a 14-10 lead at the break. However, he was held to just a basket in the payoff period.<\/p>\n<p>Rollers&#8217; Corin Goron matched Cruz&#8217;s total of 10 points with a pair of early field goals in the second frame, while her teammate Taka Borja provided 4 points that locked it at 18-all in the late minutes.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, however it was Young Guns&#8217; Kyle Chua who saved the day with the big bucket that nabbed the win.<\/p>\n<p>Young Guns&#8217; John Granada pulled on a 7-point string off the tip in the U14 feature for a slim, 9-8, favor at intermission, but Hoops&#8217; Angelo Factor took over the game in the second half with three strikes from behind the arc for 17 points in what turned out to be a runaway. Granada was held to just one of his team&#8217;s dismal 6-point effort late in the game.<\/p>\n<p>The season continues on Tuesday with U10&#8217;s Little Rebels against the Young Guns at 5pm followed by U12&#8217;s Rascals versus the Young Guns at 5:40pm. Then the U14 is scheduled for 6:20pm between the Rollers and the Bombers.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the U10 and U12 playoffs start on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>U10 Game<\/p>\n<p>Young Guns 20 &#8211; Garon 10, T.
