The Northern Marianas Humanities Council has extended the call for entries deadline for its Humanities Film Festival to May 31.<\/p>\n
The festival\u2019s theme is \u201cSoudelor and the Winds of Change in the CNMI.\u201d<\/p>\n
Filmmakers are invited to submit entries that explore and address the ethical, philosophical and existential questions raised in the aftermath of Typhoon Soudelor.<\/p>\n
The festival is open to individuals who are 18 years old and older and current residents of the CNMI. High school students (9th-12th grades) are also eligible to submit films. Films may be submitted under three categories\u2014Narrative, Documentary, and Student. Entries in each of these categories may be a feature film (more than 30 minutes) or a film short (no more than 15 minutes).<\/p>\n
Entry forms and festival guidelines and fact sheet may be downloaded from the council website www.northernmarianashumanities.org or picked up at the council\u2019s office in Springs Plaza, Gualo Rai.<\/p>\n
