{"id":225096,"date":"2016-04-11T06:06:14","date_gmt":"2016-04-10T20:06:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=225096"},"modified":"2016-04-11T06:06:14","modified_gmt":"2016-04-10T20:06:14","slug":"call-entries-extended-humanities-film-festival-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/call-entries-extended-humanities-film-festival-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for entries extended for Humanities Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Northern Marianas Humanities Council has extended the call for entries deadline for its Humanities Film Festival to May 31.<\/p>\n<p>The festival\u2019s theme is \u201cSoudelor and the Winds of Change in the CNMI.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Filmmakers are invited to submit entries that explore and address the ethical, philosophical and existential questions raised in the aftermath of Typhoon Soudelor.<\/p>\n<p>The festival is open to individuals who are 18 years old and older and current residents of the CNMI. High school students (9th-12th grades) are also eligible to submit films. Films may be submitted under three categories\u2014Narrative, Documentary, and Student.
