{"id":225559,"date":"2016-04-15T06:06:21","date_gmt":"2016-04-14T20:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=225559"},"modified":"2016-04-15T06:06:21","modified_gmt":"2016-04-14T20:06:21","slug":"cop-arrested-sexual-assault-minor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/cop-arrested-sexual-assault-minor\/","title":{"rendered":"Cop arrested for sexual assault of minor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Investigators from the Attorney General\u2019s Investigation Unit, accompanied by special agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, arrested yesterday morning a police officer who allegedly sexually assaulted a minor girl. <\/p>\n<p>Multiple sources disclosed that Police Officer 3 Jessie Concepcion was served with an arrest warrant at the Department of Public Safety\u2019s impounding lot in Lower Base at 10:01am. <\/p>\n<p>Sources also revealed that an arrest warrant was also issued against a former ranking DPS official related to Concepcion\u2019s case. Saipan Tribune opted to withhold the name of the defendant as he is reportedly off-island.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said Concepcion was arrested for sexual assault of a minor in the second degree involving a then-15-year-old girl.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said the charges against Concepcion and the former DPS official are connected to the allegations against Raymond B. Roberto.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2014, Roberto, a former acting director of the CNMI Division of Fish and Wildlife, was acquitted by a federal jury of charges that he enticed three minor girls to engage in prostitution and tampered with a witness while he was in jail.<\/p>\n<p>A bail hearing in the Superior Court is expected to commence today, Friday, in the case against Concepcion. <\/p>\n<p>Sources said Superior Court Associate Judge Kenneth L.
