Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The GSM Brewers\u2019 Saralu is now the batting leader in the 2016 Saipan Baseball League.<\/p>\n<p>Saralu, after the Brewers\u2019 win over Titanium last Friday, earned a batting average of .588 off his 10-for-17 performance at the plate to dislodge the Falcons&#8217; Giovanni Mira from the top spot. Mira hit 7-for-13 for an average of.538, while the Chalan Kanoa Bears\u2019 Jose Lizama and Titanium\u2019s Jhace Palacios are the two other players who average at least .500 and are tied for third to fourth place in the batting chart. Lizama in four games was 8-for-16, while Palacios went 6-for-12. The Blue Jays\u2019 Davie Matagolai rounded out the Top 3 after logging a batting average of .467 from his 7-for-15 clip.<\/p>\n<p>Ten other players are on the batting leaders list with Titanium\u2019s Jun Rabauliman (.462) in sixth place and followed by the Aces\u2019 John Tudela (.462), the North Starz\u2019 Roke Tenorio (.438), Titanium\u2019s Patrick Tenorio (.429), the Bears\u2019 Peyton Lizama (.429), the Aces\u2019 Lamarc Iguel (.421), Verlance Secharmidal (.412), and Ben Jones Jr. (.412), the Falcons\u2019 A.J. Evangelista (.400), and the Brewers\u2019 Anthony Tenorio (.389).<\/p>\n<p>In the pitching race, the Falcons\u2019 Ricky Joe Riungel is still on top with his perfect 0.00 ERA. He pitched 10 innings and has yet to allow a single earned run. The Brewers\u2019 Lancaster Secharmidal is in second place with his 1.13 ERA, while the Aces\u2019 Michael Muna Jr. is ranked third with his 1.20 ERA.<\/p>\n<p>Also making it to the pitching leaderboard, which is based on 9 or more innings pitched, are the North Starz\u2019s Jared Camacho (1.29), the Bears\u2019 Jeffrey Lizama (1.80), the Blue Jays\u2019 Keola Camacho (1.80), the Yankees\u2019 Peter Lieto (1.86), the Bears\u2019 Jose Lizama Jr. (2.25), the Falcons\u2019 Frankie Lieto (2.84), and VJ King (3.00).<\/p>\n<p>In other statistics, Lancaster Secharmidal has the most strikeouts so far with 21, leading the 18 of Peter Lieto, Muna, Lizama Jr. and Joe Palacios.  In runs, Peyton Lizama is ahead with 8, while Jose Lizama Jr. has the most doubles (3) and RBIs (6).
