(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>TAMUNING, Guam<\/strong>\u2014Docomo Pacific was recently recognized as a winner at the  Competitive Carrier Association\u2019s Excellence in Marketing Awards for its \u201cBest Day of My Life\u201d TV commercial in the Carrier Category. <\/p>\n<p>This is the first time Docomo Pacific has ever participated in the national competition which honors creative and innovative marketing campaigns. The winners, in five categories, were recently announced during the Mobile Carriers Show in Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery day we are committed to bringing you and your family closer to the things that matter most\u2014and we couldn\u2019t accomplish this without the hard work of our highly talented production team,\u201d said Tom Valderrama, chief marketing officer for Docomo Pacific. \u201cDocomo Pacific is extremely proud of this accomplishment.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The commercial marked the launch of Docomo Pacific\u2019s all-new \u201cBetter Together\u201d brand look and feel, featuring a fun, energetic vibe with local talent and promoting the island\u2019s scenic beauty. It was welcomed by viewers on Guam and around the world with high praise and enthusiasm. <\/p>\n<p>Docomo Pacific\u2019s production team is comprised of: Bobby Bonifacio Jr., creative manager; John Calvo, production artist; Myong Hong, production artist; Joey Kawamoto, production artist; Odyessa San Nicolas, creative coordinator; Francis Tenorio, production artist.<\/p>\n<p>They are all \u201chomegrown\u201d artists who are leaders in their respective crafts. The dedication of our team to the creative industry spans decades of experience on Guam. This year\u2019s submissions were highly creative, focusing on the many important ways consumers are using and can benefit from robust mobile connections,\u201d said Steven K.
