(Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>The Japan Saipan Travel Association conducted its semi-annual cleanup of Garapan on April 23, 2016, drawing 68 participants and collecting over 100 lbs of trash.<\/p>\n<p>JSTA was again joined by the Marianas Visitors Authority, a number of tourism industry companies, and community members in their efforts to pick up trash from American Memorial Park to the Carolinian Affairs Office along roadways and the beach.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJSTA has been a valuable partner through the years in leading this semi-annual cleanup of Garapan before our busiest tourism periods in the summer and during the holidays, and the MVA is pleased to again join them,\u201d said MVA managing director Christopher A.
