(Jon Perez)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>PHI Pharmacy and Hofschneider Engineering Corp. became the latest contributors to the 2016 Marianas March Against Cancer after the two companies donated $1,000 each and expressed their commitment of helping the annual community event.<\/p>\n<p>PHI Pharmacy vice president Bruce Cohen said aside from their regular contributions to MMAC they also work closely with cancer patients and their families.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re also doing home care, where we visit patients and their families. We go beyond the medicines and make sure every aspect of our pharmacy is utilized,\u201d said Cohen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are compassionate to all patients and their families since we understand what they are going through with this disease. Drugs are fine but going beyond patient care makes things easier for them,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen said they are also working closely with all physicians in the CNMI to make sure they have enough supply of medicines that will be dispensed to all cancer patients here in the Commonwealth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy all means we work with patients for their out patient medicines and at the same time build a close working relationship with doctors to make sure that we have a consistent supply of medicines,\u201d Cohen added.<\/p>\n<p>Hofschneider Engineering president Bill Hofschneider said aside from monetary support they donate other resources either to the community or MMAC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs much as possible we think of ways on how to help. We try to donate car services to them and individuals who are in need. We want to try and utilize all our resources that we have,\u201d Hofschneider added.<\/p>\n<p>Geri Dela Cruz, the 2016 MMAC overall committee chair, thanked PHI Pharmacy and Hofschneider Engineering. She even challenged Hofschneider to have a team for next year\u2019s MMAC after he and his staff wore matching company shirts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are looking forward in your presence to this year\u2019s MMAC.
