By age group, WPS\u2019 boys U9 and boys U11 finished third and the girls U11 came in at second place. <\/p>\n<p>Whispering Palms\u2019 team was composed of 14 elementary students who qualified to compete in the running and field events. The list includes Lily James, Katie Rose James, Helen Kim, Lia Mariano, Violet Allen, River Kramer, Ashley DeCourteney, Erin Frink, Kyle Kramer, Robert DeCourteney, Dylan Mister, Max Church, Blake Mister, and Kaden Church.<\/p>\n<p>Individual medal winners for their respective age\/events were as follows: boys U9\u2019s Robert DeCourteney\u2014400m (1st), 800m (1st), 1500m (2nd); girls U9\u2019s Helen Kim\u2014400m (1st), 800m (2nd); boys U11\u2019s Dylan Mister\u20141500m (1st), softball throw (3rd); and girls U11\u2019s Violet Allen\u2014800m (3rd), 1500m (2nd); Ashley DeCourteney\u2014200m (2nd), 400m (2nd), 800m (1st), 1500m (1st); and River Kramer\u2014200m (1st), 400m (1st).<\/p>\n<p>On the final day, the relays were the highly anticipated events and WPS collected four medals from these contests. Whispering Palms had two mixed medley relay teams in both the 9U and 11U age categories and each earned  silver medals for the school. The U9 team had Mariano, Robert DeCourteney, Helen Kim, and Kyle Kramer as runners, while the U11 members were Erin Frink, Max Church, River Kramer, and Dylan Mister.<\/p>\n<p>WPS also fielded two 4x400m relay teams in both the girls U11 and boys U13 age categories. The boys team of Dylan Mister, Max and Kaden Church, and Blake Mister, ended up running in an older category and still managed to earn the silver medal.
