Benavente said the money would be used for MTEC programs, specifically outreach programs to public schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you Best Sunshine. We appreciate your support with this event\u2026[and] we\u2019re very proud to be sponsoring with them,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>MTEC is the principal organization focused on increasing awareness and supporting tourism-related programs benefitting the Commonwealth\u2019s public school students.<\/p>\n<p>The council will stage this Saturday the first ever Governor\u2019s Tourism Cup as part of Marianas Visitors Authority\u2019s 40th anniversary. <\/p>\n<p>BSI Corporate Social Responsibility director Geralyn Dela Cruz represented the company during the recent ceremonial check turnover to MTEC officials led by Benavente and treasurer Shamika J.
