A registered sex offender was arrested again over the weekend for allegedly sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl at a residence on Rota.<\/p>\n
Nathan Iano Narcis, 31, also known as \u201cNat Dawg,\u201d was taken to Saipan Superior Court yesterday for bail hearing on charges of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n
Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho imposed a $100,000 cash bail and set the preliminary hearing for May 27 at 9:30am.<\/p>\n
Assistant public defender Tillman Clark was appointed as counsel for Narcis. Assistant attorney general Betsy Weintraub appeared for the government.<\/p>\n
Police Detective Tito S. Hocog II stated in his report that police arrested Narcis on Saturday at 11pm after the girl\u2019s mother contacted Rota Department of Public Safety to file a complaint of child molestation against Narcis.<\/p>\n
Hocog said when two police officers arrived at the house, they observed Narcis crying and telling the girl\u2019s mother that he was sorry.<\/p>\n
Hocog said the mother learned about the incident that night after her daughter went to her, looking scared and with a shivering voice.<\/p>\n
The girl told her mother that Lizama touched her private part.<\/p>\n
Hocog said Narcis is a registered sex offender after he was convicted with sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree in 2008.<\/p>\n
Hocog said as a registered sex offender, Narcis is prohibited to be anywhere with minors.<\/p>\n
