Ortega and Merlie Savellano went 2-0, topping Chester Cuento and Roxanne Soriano first, 21-14, 23-21, before defeating Jun and Baby Banadera, 21-13, 21-5.<\/p>\n<p>Cheolho Cho and Hyun Kung Jung also played in the mixed doubles C and won over Henry Ko and Kuen Lee Han, 21-19, 21-14, while Haram and Min Seo Kim handed the latter pair its second loss with a 21-15, 21-17 triumph last Sunday. Gigi Zapanta and Panapa Peteru were the other winners in the division after sweeping Kathy Distor and Rob Harrell, 21-12, 21-18.<\/p>\n<p>In the mixed doubles B, Chris Hilario and Nicole Malasarte made short work of Fr. Charlie Borka and Vilma Reyes, 21-11, 21-18, while Windy Fernandez and Oh Im Bog had a similar two-game victory over Alvin and Anna Alvarez, 21-13, 21-14.
