Hopwood Middle School would like to inform the general public that registration will begin on June 13, 2016 for all new incoming and ongoing 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Deadline for registration will be July 31, 2016. Please have all the required documents ready when turning in the registration form:<\/p>\n<p>1. Returning students must have the following:<br \/>\n\u2022 Updated registration form (please make sure all the following is updated on the registration: contact numbers\/person, email address, map to and from the school, legal guardianship\/court documents, name of individuals allowed to pick up your child).<br \/>\n\u2022 Updated health certificate for SY16-17.<br \/>\n\u2022 Updated school insurance (i.e Moylans, Medicaid).<\/p>\n<p>2. New students must have the following:<br \/>\n\u2022 Completed registration form<br \/>\n\u2022 Transcript\/Diploma\/Report Card and any supporting documents that prove completion from previous school.<br \/>\n\u2022 Birth certificate.<br \/>\n\u2022 Updated health certificate for SY 16-17.<br \/>\n\u2022 Updated school insurance (i.e Moylans, Medicaid).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Be advised that if you don\u2019t have the proper documents for registration we won\u2019t accept your registration forms. Please make copies of your documents as well before bringing them. Barcinas at 237-3422 or the Registrar\u2019s Office at 664-5079\/237-3425. <strong>(PR)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tanapag Middle School registration ongoing<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Tanapag Middle School registration for School Year 2016-2017 is now ongoing. All students\u2014returning and new\u2014must submit a registration packet. Packets can be attained from the TMS main office. Office hours are from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. All registration packets must be submitted in full to process enrollment. Deadline for registration is July 29. <strong>(PR)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3 Saipan beaches red-flagged<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Division of Environmental Quality has red-flagged three Saipan beaches and is advising the public not to fish or swim within 300 feet of these locations for the next 48 hours or until otherwise notified.<\/p>\n<p>Affected sites are Hafa Adai Hotel, DPW Channel Bridge, and Da-Ichi Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Samples collected from these locations contained excessive concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria (enterococci) that exceeded the CNMI Marine Water Quality Standards. These bacteria can indicate the presence of human and animal waste in the water. <\/p>\n<p>DEQ analyzes water samples collected from Saipan\u2019s recreational beaches and storm drainage every Tuesday.
