Being the owner of three successful restaurants, he decided to open Nami in 2013, which originally served more traditional French-inspired dishes such as pork satay and French style steak. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After Typhoon Soudelor, Nami was forced to close for repairs as they had no power or water. After clearing the debris, Taniguchi decided to change the concept of Nami to include more local flavors. He added the Beef Curry to the menu three weeks after reopening and now it\u2019s the most popular dish on the menu. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTaniguchi San\u2019s passion for using local produce and products in his dishes is directly aligned with the Certified Angus Beef brand,\u201d said Jay Santos, general manager of Five Star Wholesale Foods and Triple J Saipan Truckload store. \u201cHe\u2019s a really inspiring restaurant owner.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Taniguchi stated, \u201cI want to serve the freshest ingredients at all my restaurants.
