Two male juveniles were injured during a collision of two vehicles along Beach Road in Garapan Tuesday night.<\/div>\n

The two boys suffered minor lacerations and were taken to the Commonwealth Health Center.<\/p>\n

The vehicles-a Jeep and a Toyota Tacoma-both had extensive damage to the front bumpers.<\/p>\n

Saipan Tribune learned from police and witnesses that the two injured boys were in the bed of the Toyota Tacoma being driven by Wilma Amog.<\/p>\n

One of the boys was Amog’s 14-year-old son. Sitting on the front passenger seat was her 6-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n

The Jeep was being driven by Jack Hudak, owner of Thai House Restaurant.<\/p>\n

The Tacoma was heading south when the Jeep being driven by Hudak suddenly encroached on the opposite lane and collided head on with the Tacoma.<\/p>\n

Hudak said he was changing his vehicle’s radio station when the accident happened.<\/p>\n

Hudak had just come from the former Price Costco and was on his way home when the accident happened around 7:50pm in front of a building previously occupied by St. Michael’s Ambulance.<\/p>\n

When asked if he was intoxicated, the businessman said he has never drunk alcoholic beverages since 1990 and that he is, in fact, a regular speaker at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.<\/p>\n

When Saipan Tribune left the scene, police were still doing their investigation.<\/p>\n

The road was wet but it was not raining when the collision occurred. The shoulder and the side portion of the northbound lane was flooded.<\/p>\n
