I believe its roots are hatred and superiority. The act of racism may be irksome but may seem right to others. We cannot forcibly convince people and even society that racism is outright wrong. In order to want to deter racism, we must be the first to act right- to appreciate differences and to not believe in its concept and instead, believe in change. No matter the complexion, background, and even standard of living, we must accept differences among all races. After all, we are all human beings. Hopefully, our optimism and belief in humanity will somehow be the reason to this generation’s gradual change.

Pionnah Gregorio
Oleai

[7
67,12641
post-232891","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-letters-to-the-editor","tag-people","tag-pionnah-gregorio
["GET
