Monroyo)\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/imgupload\/issx9999ns120176.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"71\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0 Wild Bill&#8217;s swept the first round of the men&#8217;s division of the 2012 SSS Summer Futsal League after edging Godfather&#8217;s, 8-6, last Monday night at the TSL Sports Complex in Gualo Rai.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Thoensaket, who had five goals in their 15-0 spanking of Go Green last week, picked up where he left off, firing four goals in their fourth win in as many games in the five-team league.<\/p>\n<p>Thoensaket had a hat-trick in the first half, while Tanapon Unsa and Thanyakorn Konkoed added one goal each to give Wild Bill&#8217;s a 5-3 halftime lead. Otsuka Masatoshi made twin goals, while Dale Roberts chipped in one to keep Godfather&#8217;s afloat in the first half.<\/p>\n<p>Masatoshi was not yet done and nailed three more goals, however he got none from his teammates, while three different players scored for Wild Bill&#8217;s in the final half. Thoensaket got his fourth goal, while Adul Detolon and Lar Wonparya made it to the scoreboard, too.<\/p>\n<p>With the win, Wild Bill&#8217;s strengthened its hold to the top spot, two victories ahead of Godfather&#8217;s (2-0-1 win\/draw\/loss). Shirley&#8217;s (1-0-1), IT&amp;E (0-0-2), and Go Green (0-0-3) complete the field.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s division, Shirley&#8217;s notched its third straight win after beating IT&amp;E Awesome, 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>Shirley&#8217;s is now on top of the six-team field with its 3-0-1 record, while IT&amp;E remained at fifth place with its 1-0-3 card.<\/p>\n<p>Ira Palero and Irish Pagarao logged two goals apiece for Shirley&#8217;s, while Yvonne Indalencio and Marie Javier chipped in one each. Laarni Zapanta and Jayda Mendoza scored one goal each for IT&amp;E Awesome.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, action in the summer league will resume tomorrow with Astig facing Mean Machine in the boys U18 match at 6:30pm and IT&amp;E Awesome battling Wild Bill&#8217;s in the women&#8217;s game at 7:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>Astig holds an unbeaten 2-0-0 record in the boys U18 division, sharing the lead with IT&amp;E, while Mean Machine is still winless in three games.
