(Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Having identified a number of needed destination enhancements, the Marianas Visitors Authority is expanding its project work on Tinian in close collaboration with the Tinian Mayor\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Upgrades to popular Taga Beach have started; electricity has been restored to the pavilions, and a corroded ladder providing access to the beach has been replaced. Other repairs to the restrooms and pavilions are now underway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re glad to be partnering with the Tinian Mayor\u2019s Office on these projects,\u201d said MVA Product Development manager Tatiana Babauta. \u201cOur goal is to make Tinian even more beautiful and appealing for visitors and residents, alike.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other improvements at Taga Beach will include addressing safety issues resulting from erosion at the site.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe MVA will continue to do as much as possible, and we also appeal to everyone to please help take care of these public facilities and to be extra mindful in order to deter vandalism,\u201d said MVA Tinian Field Operations supervisor Vida Borja.<\/p>\n<p>Upgrades to Tinian began last year with the rehabilitation of the plant nursery at the MVA office.
