The team also assisted in setting up the venue and provided water, ice, and fruits for event organizers and attendees.

BSI played a major role in the community’s recovery immediately after Typhoon Soudelor through collaboration with CARE, the Executive branch, the Saipan Mayor’s Office, and numerous nongovernment organizations.

BSI was at the forefront in the immediate aftermath of the typhoon, contributing equipment, manpower, and financial aid totaling to about $500,000 to help the government and the community recover. BSI also provided, among others, over 250 gallons of drinking water and over hundreds of bottled drinking water to those that sought refuge at temporary/emergency shelters.

In a recent Saipan Chamber of Commerce meeting, CARE president Alex Sablan said that “the CSR team of Best Sunshine provided excellent support in conjunction with the Mayor of Saipan and Department of Public Works in clearing much of the debris from each village every week since the typhoon. This debris cleaning allowed American Red Cross Disaster Case Management personnel to enter properties and assess the damage to many homes.” (PR)

Best Sunshine International, Ltd.’s Corporate Social Responsibility team collaborated with the Commonwealth Advocates for Recovery…

[4
1707,1311,7056,6333
post-233766","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-news","tag-best-sunshine-international","tag-bsi","tag-care","tag-typhoon-soudelor
["GET
