{"id":233959,"date":"2016-08-10T06:00:29","date_gmt":"2016-08-09T20:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=233959"},"modified":"2016-08-10T06:00:29","modified_gmt":"2016-08-09T20:00:29","slug":"appreciation-message-participants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/appreciation-message-participants\/","title":{"rendered":"Appreciation message to participants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is to express our sincere gratitude to all participants of the first sunset celebration of the Carolinian songs from the traditional to the contemporary music held last July at the Carolinian Utt, which was co-sponsored by the Rematao Music Society, Inc.  <\/p>\n<p>This includes the different Carolinian singing artists from young to old like Alfred Saures, Rodney Ilo, Archelene, Jonathan \u201cJ.J.\u201d Joe Norita, Aguon, Raymond Peter, Abdon Kaipat, and Emi Palican.  <\/p>\n<p>They showcased the favorite songs from the \u201960s to the \u201980s and even the present recording songs. It was a good crowd and many of them were shouting: \u201cextend more hours\u201d singing and dancing. We are grateful that not only Carolinians participants, but they were a mix of Filipinos, Chamorros, Chinese, Koreans, Americans, and even our Micronesian brothers were enjoying themselves.   <\/p>\n<p>We also extend our Ghirisow and Si Yuus Ma\u2019ase to the executive assistant to Carolinian Affairs Office, HJuan Itibus Tagabuel, and the Governor\u2019s Office. We cannot forget to also thank our sponsors of the sound system, Marvin Seman; Coca Cola and other hard-working members of the Rematao Music Society, Inc. that coordinated and contributed local food and drinks.
