{"id":23638,"date":"2012-07-10T02:22:47","date_gmt":"2012-07-10T02:22:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=23638"},"modified":"2012-07-10T02:22:47","modified_gmt":"2012-07-10T02:22:47","slug":"probationer-allegedly-steals-air-compressor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/probationer-allegedly-steals-air-compressor\/","title":{"rendered":"Probationer allegedly steals air compressor"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Police arrested Thursday a probationer who allegedly stole an air compressor at a residence in Afetnas.<\/div>\n<p>Eric Aguon, 20, was brought to the Superior Court yesterday on a theft charge.<\/p>\n<p>Associate Judge Perry B. Inos released Aguon from the custody of the Department of Corrections in the theft case but remanded him to DOC under the previous criminal conviction.<\/p>\n<p>The Office of Public Defender was appointed to serve as counsel for Aguon.<\/p>\n<p>Police detective Alexander T. Sakisat stated in his report that a police officer responded to a residence in Afetnas where a theft incident allegedly occurred.<\/p>\n<p>Sakisat said that when the officer arrived, a witness pointed to Aguon as having allegedly admitted to going into a house on July 2, 2012, and stealing an air compressor.<\/p>\n<p>Aguon allegedly sold the air compressor to another person.<\/p>\n<p>Last March the Office of the Attorney General asked that Aguon&#8217;s probation in a previous assault conviction be revoked after he was arrested on Dec. 18, 2011, for disturbing the peace and for minor consuming alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Office of Adult Probation, Aguon has not make any payments on his court assessment fee of $100; has an outstanding balance of 492 hours of community work service; and has failed to report to the Community Guidance Center since the date of referral on Nov. 17, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>In October 2010, Superior Court Presiding Judge Robert C.
