{"id":23818,"date":"2012-07-12T06:01:47","date_gmt":"2012-07-12T06:01:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=23818"},"modified":"2012-07-12T06:01:47","modified_gmt":"2012-07-12T06:01:47","slug":"suspected-ice-supplier-falls-store-owner-arrested-for-alleged-sexual-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/suspected-ice-supplier-falls-store-owner-arrested-for-alleged-sexual-assault\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspected &#8216;ice&#8217; supplier falls; store owner arrested for alleged sexual assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Police arrested Tuesday a suspected dealer of crystal methamphetamine or \u201cice\u201d and a store owner accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in separate incidents on Saipan.<\/div>\n<p>Jun Fang, 36, and Jin Song Lin, 47, were taken to the Superior Court yesterday afternoon for their bail hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Fang, also known as Jun, was arrested for trafficking of a controlled substance and illegal possession of a controlled substance.<\/p>\n<p>Lin was arrested for sexual assault in the second degree, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n<p>Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho imposed a $60,000 cash bail for Lin and $30,000 cash bail for Fang.<\/p>\n<p>Camacho set the preliminary hearing in both cases on July 19 at 9am.<\/p>\n<p>Police detective Dennis Reyes stated in his report that Fang is the suspected supplier of Changfeng Zhang whom they arrested on Friday for selling \u201cice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reyes said that during monitored buy-walk operations, Zhang entered a car where he got his \u201cice\u201d supply.<\/p>\n<p>Reyes said the surveillance team followed the car and saw Jun, whom they later identified as Fang, get down from the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>In the sexual assault case, police officer Rudolfo Hermosilla stated in his report that police officers responded to a store in Chalan Kanoa Tuesday afternoon after receiving a call about a sexual assault incident.<\/p>\n<p>Hermosilla said preliminary investigation showed that a girl entered the store to buy cookies.
