Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>TanHoldings Football Club is still ahead in the team standings in the boys U14 division of the 2016 NMIFA Youth Fall League following a 6-2 victory over Paire FC last Saturday at the Kobleville Elementary School Field.<\/p>\n<p>TanHoldings has a perfect 4-0-0 win-draw-loss record to pace Kanoa (3-0-1), Paire (2-0-2), MP United (2-0-2), Matansa (1-0-3), and Shirley\u2019s (0-0-4).<\/p>\n<p>Kirro Batino, for the second straight time, led TanHoldings\u2019 fourth consecutive win after knocking in a pair of goals. He scored the first (26th minute) and last goals (61st) of the division leader. Four other TanHoldings players hit the board against Paire with Mark Esalan finding the back of the net in the 27th minute, John Paul Cruz in the 35th, and John Guiller Canape and Aloy Zeus Angeles in the 43rd and 49th, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Paire got its two goals from Kaden Church and Robbie Schorr, who scored in the 14th and 41st minute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MP United 4, Matansa 3<\/strong><br \/>\n United nosed out Matansa to bag its second win in four games.<\/p>\n<p>Go Sekiguchi drilled the go-ahead goal in the 63rd minute, while Benito Lolobeyong registered all three goals for Matansa.<\/p>\n<p>Lolobeyong had his first in the 16th and the second in the 32nd to force a standoff at halftime. MP United recorded the two early goals in the first half with Oliver Lee hitting his target in the third minute and Rintaro Miyawaki following suit three minutes later.<\/p>\n<p>Lolobeyon\u2019s third goal just two minutes into the second half put Matansa on top before MP United tied the match anew, thanks to Eun Syu Hahn\u2019s shot in the 55th. Eight minutes later, Sekiguchi broke the deadlock and MP United hung in there for the close win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kanoa 6, Shirley\u2019s 1<\/strong><br \/>\nKanoa eased past Shirley\u2019s to get its third victory.<\/p>\n<p>Kirt Andon and Mikho Umali dropped two goals for Kanoa, which drew one goal apiece from Sebastian Manabat and Jhoey Noble. Andon scored first (nine minute) for Kanoa and also logged the team\u2019s last goal in the first half (27th). Manabat posted Kanoa\u2019s other goal in the opening 35 minutes of play as he lit up the board in the 13th minute.<\/p>\n<p>In the second half, Kanoa nailed three goals in a span of four minutes with Umali getting his first in the 65 th and the second in the 69th. Noble registered his goal in the 67th minute.<\/p>\n<p>The winless Shirley\u2019s avoided a shutout when Tyneth Santos converted his shot in the 66th minute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GIRLS U15<br \/>\nMatansa 9, MP United 1<\/strong><br \/>\nMatansa joined Shirley\u2019s and Kanoa in a three-way tie for the lead after whipping MP United in the second game in the girls U15 division.<\/p>\n<p>Guinevere Borja stood out in Matansa\u2019s win after firing four goals. Sunny Woo and Angelica Sally chipped in two, while Aira May Ngalongalo added one for Matansa, which has a 3-0-1 card\u2014the same mark Kanoa and Shirley\u2019s have.<\/p>\n<p>MP United dropped to a 1-0-3 slate after making only one goal, courtesy of Gilliam Villagomez\u2019s shot just less than a minute into the first half.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kanoa 2, Shirley\u2019s 1<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the first game, Paulyn Grace Joyce lifted Kanoa to an upset over the defending champion Shirley\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Joyce earned her first goal in the 18th and handed Kanoa a 2-0 lead early in the second half with her second conversion in the 40th minute.
