{"id":23862,"date":"2012-07-13T06:26:43","date_gmt":"2012-07-13T06:26:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=23862"},"modified":"2012-07-13T06:26:43","modified_gmt":"2012-07-13T06:26:43","slug":"konfitma-2012-exercise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/konfitma-2012-exercise\/","title":{"rendered":"Konfitma 2012 Exercise"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Are local emergency responders prepared to deal with hazardous materials released during a terrorist-style attack in the CNMI?<\/div>\n<p>The U.S. Army Pacific Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Team\/CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package Training and Readiness Division, in coordination with the CNMI Office of Homeland Security and the Emergency Management Office, will be holding full-scale exercise called \u201cKonfitma\u201d in support of CNMI responders and 94th, 93rd, 92nd, and joint CST training exercise.<\/p>\n<p>The exercise is scheduled on July 17-18 in several locations throughout Saipan and Tinian.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of Kofitma is to conduct a 36-hour all-hazard situational training exercise in order to create conditions to reinforce interoperability among local, state, federal, military, and private stakeholders.
