{"id":238628,"date":"2016-10-18T06:00:16","date_gmt":"2016-10-17T20:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=238628"},"modified":"2016-10-18T06:00:16","modified_gmt":"2016-10-17T20:00:16","slug":"fat-joe-walter-manglona-hold-concert-guam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/fat-joe-walter-manglona-hold-concert-guam\/","title":{"rendered":"Fat Joe, Walter Manglona to hold concert in Guam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fat Joe, Walter Manglona, Rokjuan, Dean Manglona, Cliff Atalig, and Ben B are preparing to perform in a concert at the University of Guam Field House this coming Nov. 19.<\/p>\n<p>Fat Joe, who is the main act, hails from the South Bronx area in New York. In the early \u201990s, he was able to obtain a recording contract with Relatively Label then switched over to Atlantic Records and Mystic Entertainment in the late \u201990s.<\/p>\n<p>Popular songs from him are Lean Back, What\u2019s Luv, Another Round featuring Chris Brown, and All The Way Up. Fat Joe has also managed to perform with another big named hip hop star, 50 Cent.<\/p>\n<p>Manglona, currently director for the CNMI Office on Aging, was officially invited to share the stage with Fat Joe thanks to the CEO of Club Matrix Productions after viewing some videos of him on Youtube.<\/p>\n<p>Manglona said,  \u201cI am truly honored with this event. I cannot miss this great opportunity to share the stage with this amazing hip hop legend\u201d when asked about the coming concert.<\/p>\n<p>In regards to his future music plans, Manglona said, \u201cI have signed a music deal with ATM Entertainment in conjunction with Jade Pro Studios to release my first ever digital album! My new album entitled \u2018Just me\u2019 will be available in over 150 online stores such as iTunes, Amazon Music, Rhapsody, Spotify, and more! Early next year I am heading to New York City to perform with other celebrity acts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked to give a message to the young and inspiring musician from home, Manglona said, \u201c Keep doing what you do. You never know what could happen. You will face some rejections in life; people might tell you that you are not good enough but don\u2019t ever let anything stop you from achieving your dreams. You have to persevere and stay optimistic. Keep reaching for the stars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Guam concert, a free concert will be held on Rota Oct. 28, 2016. The concert will take place at the Sinapalo Children\u2019s Park. For the event, Kevin Atalig, Tommy \u201cGun\u201d Atalig, Davita and Denetrah Manglona, RokJuan, John Trevor Cruz, Dean Manglona, and more will be performing with it beginning at 6 PM.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are now available for the Guam concerts online at www.clubmatrixproductions.com. Tickets cost $35 for general admission and $75 for the platinum VIP tickets. <strong>(Michael T.
