King was taken to the Superior Court yesterday on charges of assault and battery and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n<p>Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho found probable cause to continue to detain King on those charges.<\/p>\n<p>Camacho imposed a $1,250 cash bail following the court-adopted bail schedule.<\/p>\n<p>King was seen crying after the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Saipan Tribune learned that King posted bail and was subsequently released.<\/p>\n<p>A police officer testified in court that according to the victim, King pushed and repeatedly punched her. The officer did not indicate the reason for the assault.<\/p>\n<p>When King&#8217;s father tried to stop her, King&#8217;s common-law husband allegedly punched the father then fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The father was taken to the Commonwealth Health Center due to a dislocated left shoulder.
