{"id":239233,"date":"2016-10-27T06:06:49","date_gmt":"2016-10-26T20:06:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=239233"},"modified":"2016-10-27T06:06:49","modified_gmt":"2016-10-26T20:06:49","slug":"mhs-daok-academy-tie-chccs-division-public-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/mhs-daok-academy-tie-chccs-division-public-health\/","title":{"rendered":"MHS, Da&#8217;ok Academy tie up with CHCC\u2019s Division of Public Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marianas High School and Da&#8217;ok Academy will be working in collaboration with the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.\u2019s Division of Public Health, HIV\/STD Resource &amp; Treatment Program and Maternal and Child Health Bureau Family Planning Program to educate its students in the area of sexually transmitted diseases and family planning services (methods of contraceptives). <\/p>\n<p>This outreach activity supports the CNMI Public School System\u2019s Personal Responsibility Education Program  in ensuring that students have access to these important health services. Services include HIV\/STD education; counseling and testing; glucose screening; blood pressure screening; and family planning services.<\/p>\n<p>Certified counselors will be available on site to assess at-risk students.
