Paire Football Club\u2019s Guinevere Borja was on fire in their Division A game against TanHoldings FC, scoring five goals in their 7-3 victory last Sunday in the 2016 Dove Women\u2019s Fall League at the Chacha Ocean View Middle School Field.<\/p>\n
Borja, who is scheduled to leave for China today to play for the CNMI U19 Women\u2019s National Team that will compete in the AFC U19 Women\u2019s Championship 2017, drilled his first two goals in the 14th and 17th minute to give Paire a precarious 2-1 halftime edge. <\/p>\n
Krizel Tuazon lit up the board for TanHoldings in the 23rd to keep their team in the game, but not for long, as Borja was still on target in the second half. Borja\u2019s got a hat trick in the final frame, lighting up the board in the 39th, 42nd, and 49th minute. Paire added two more goals with Angel Sally and Pinyarat Shankweiler finding the back of the net in the 56th and 63rd minute, respectively.<\/p>\n
TanHoldings countered with only two goals in the second half, courtesy of Mary Kay Alferos\u2019 shot in the 47th minute and Liz Phan\u2019s conversion in the 68th.<\/p>\n
In the other Division A match, Kanoa and Shirley\u2019s had a draw.<\/p>\n
Anna Karaoetyan and Paulyn Joyce scored for Kanoa, while Shirley\u2019s got its two goals from Diana Manacop and Mae Ito. Kanoa made all its two goals in the second half with Jenny Lee scoring the first one in the 36th minute and Mariebell Aldan nailing the go-ahead a minute late.<\/p>\n Paire registered the first goal in the last match in the division off Patricia Surima\u2019s shot in the 13th minute.<\/p>\n Kagman 2, Babs 2<\/strong> Both goals came from Manami Tadakoro, while Mary Grace Anon and Aira May Ngalongalo scored for Kagman.<\/p>\n MP United 4, Shirley\u2019s 3<\/strong> Sato and Tamm earned two goals apiece with the former knocking in the go-ahead in the second half.
