Ralph DLG Torres released a list of legal holidays for 2017.<\/p>\n<p>There are six legal holidays left for the year with a long weekend this Friday for the Nov. 4 Citizenship Day. Next week\u2019s general election, Nov. 8, is also a legal holiday to allow employees to vote.<\/p>\n<p>Nov. 11 (Veteran\u2019s Day), Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving), Dec. 8 (Constitution Day), and Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) are the remaining holidays for 2016.<\/p>\n<p>He also released the list of legal holidays for 2017 starting with New Year\u2019s Day on Jan. 1 followed by the Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 16. President\u2019s Day is on Feb. 20, while March 24 is Commonwealth Covenant Day.<\/p>\n<p>Good Friday will be on April 14, with Memorial Day on May 29 and July 4 is Independence Day. Sept. 4 is Labor Day and the Commonwealth Cultural Day on Oct. 9.<\/p>\n<p>Nov. 4, 11, and 23, are Citizenship Day, Veteran\u2019s Day, and Thanksgiving, respectively.
