(Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>As part of the 2nd Marianas Ukulele Festival, held on Oct. 22, 2016, professional ukulele performers JazzoomCafe from Japan and Blues Lee from Korea gave special live performances sharing the love of ukulele music at several local venues.<\/p>\n<p>The two visited KKMP Radio, Saipan Community School, the Office on Aging Man\u2019amko Center, Marianas High School, Kagman High School, Saipan International School, and the Joeten Kiyu Public Library on Friday, Oct. 21. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was so fantastic, interacting with the local students, seniors, and members of the community,\u201d said JazzoomCafe.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the students were awed and inspired by the unique and incredible ukulele playing styles displayed by the special guest performers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really enjoyed the entire day performing for so many different groups,\u201d said Blues Lee, \u201cand I hope we get to return for next year\u2019s Marianas Ukulele Festival.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These public performances and the Ukulele Festival were made possible through the outstanding support fof the Marianas Visitors Authority, Delta Air Lines, T Galleria DFS, KKMP Radio, Pacific Development Inc., Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture, Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan, IT&amp;E, Serenti Hotel, Burger Comer Magliari, Top Development Inc., Mariana Resort and Spa, Robert T. BJ Attao.<\/p>\n<p>The Marianas Ukulele Festival Association is a registered, non-profit organization whose mission is: to promote and perpetuate ukulele music and heritage by bringing people of all ages together to share the love of ukulele music; and to create an avenue for people of all cultures to share the island warmth and Hafa Adai Tirow spirit through the enjoyment of music and culture.
