Delta Air Lines has extended its premium collection of in-flight amenities with a newly designed Westin Heavenly in-flight blanket for the business class cabin between Narita and Guam, Saipan and Palau flights, beginning November 2016. This is an extension of the airline\u2019s existing partnership with Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, Inc.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are passionate about making sure that every detail, down to the blankets, enhances the experience on board for customers,\u201d said Allison Ausband, Delta\u2019s senior vice president of in-flight service. \u201cDelta\u2019s commitment to customer comfort is reflected through our partnership with Westin Hotel & Resorts. Our two travel brands are perfectly suited to collaborate together to help customers get to their desired destination in the most comfortable way.\u201d <\/p>\n

Based on research and feedback collected directly from customers, Delta\u2019s in-flight service and brand team, together with Westin\u2019s brand team, developed the Westin Heavenly in-flight blanket, which is inspired by signature design elements of the iconic Westin Heavenly Bed. The muted grey hue blanket exudes a relaxing and calming ambiance, while simultaneously paying tribute to the two brands. <\/p>\n

Westin Heavenly in-flight blanket will be also offered for first class customers in the U.S. domestic flights. In addition to Business and First Class cabin offerings, Delta\u2019s main cabin blankets have also been upgraded, featuring woven fabric in a sensory blue hue. Each blanket has been designed with durable long-lasting materials that decrease product replacement.<\/p>\n

The Westin Heavenly in-flight blanket launch is a part of a larger, ongoing partnership between the renowned wellbeing brand and Delta to continually improve the in-flight sleep experience. Customers in select cabins currently enjoy Westin Heavenly in-flight bedding\u2014the coveted, luxurious white comforters and hypoallergenic pillows\u2014along with Delta-branded sleepwear, noise-cancelling headsets and TUMI amenity kits featuring Kiehl\u2019s Since 1851 products.
