(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Guinevere Borja and Therize Millare of division champions Paire Football Club and Shirley\u2019s FC topped the awardees list in the 2016 Dove Women\u2019s Fall League that concluded last Sunday at the Chacha Ocean View Middle School Field.<\/p>\n<p>Borja ruled the Golden Boot race in Division A after collecting 18 goals in nine games. The Paire forward defeated Paulyn Grace Joyce, Jeraldine Castillo, and Gillian Villagomez, who registered 13, 11, and 10 goals, respectively in the three-round robin competition.<\/p>\n<p>Millare took the same award in Division B, as the Shirley\u2019s FC player hauled the most goals in the entire league with her 24. Millare was way ahead of her competitors, as her closest pursuers (Maaya Sato, Manami Tadokoro, and Julia Ishikawa) made only six goals apiece.<\/p>\n<p>In the team awards, Paire was handed the championship trophy in Division A after finishing the season with an 8-0-1 win-draw-loss, while TanHoldings FC (1-3-5) took the Fair Play award. Shirley\u2019s (3-2-4) and Kanoa (2-3-4) were the other teams entered in Division A.<\/p>\n<p>In Division B, Shirley\u2019s got the title after earning a 7-2-1 mark, while Kagman (1-2-7) received the Fair Play award. MP United (6-1-3) placed second and was followed by Babs (4-2-4), Paire (3-4-3), and Kanoa (3-1-6).<\/p>\n<p>The Dove league also featured a masters division and although results were not officially recorded, tournament officials still recognized teams that stood out this season. MP United and TanHoldings won the Team Spirit and Fair Play awards, respectively, while Kanoa won the Best in Uniform contest. Topnotch was the Best Tactical Team, while Matansa brought home the Team Grit award.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a successful season, especially with the addition of the masters division.
