With grueling climbs and speedy down hills, this course was one of the most challenging yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe couldn\u2019t have done it without all our amazing sponsors as well as the folks over at DPS, the Fire and EMS department, Parks and Recreation, DPW, and of course, GPPC for all the help with the Capital Hill road project and keeping our riders safe and sound! We had an amazing race,\u201d said Vince Seman, president of the Northern Mariana Islands Cycling Federation.<\/p>\n<p>The Platinum sponsors for this event were DFS Saipan, Gatorade, TSL Foundation, and Triple J, Saipan. Gold sponsors were Hyatt Regency Saipan, IT&amp;E, Gold\u2019s Gym, and Island Training Solutions. Silver sponsors as Power 99 and abronze sponsors were Philippine Airlines, Saipan Bike Pro, Pacific Island Club, Taro Sue, Bridge Capital, Mango Resort, Hawaiian Rock Products, and Let\u2019s Go! Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>First place winner for the men\u2019s category was Philippine rider John Paul Morales, second place was Japan\u2019s Makoto Morimoto, and third was the Philippines\u2019 Mark John Galedo.  First place for the female\u2019s category was Mieko Carey from Guam.
