Camacho convicted yesterday a man accused of pulling the hair of his common-law wife at their residence in Upper Miha.<\/div>\n<p>Camacho found that the prosecution presented enough evidence to prove that Brandon Camacho Wanket committed the charges.<\/p>\n<p>The judge found Wanket guilty of assault and battery, disturbing the peace, criminal mischief, interfering with a domestic violence report, and resisting arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Wanket will be sentenced on Aug. 8, 2012, at 1:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant attorney general Margo Brown prosecuted the case. Assistant public defender Matt Meyer served as counsel for Wanket.<\/p>\n<p>Police detective Catherine B. Pangelinan stated in her report that police officers responded to Upper Miha on June 22, 2011, at 4:48am after receiving a call about a disturbance.<\/p>\n<p>The officers saw the victim crying in the driveway. She told the police that Wanket pulled her hair, causing her to fall to the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The officers spotted Wanket near the house.
