Santos)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Apparently, Pacific Islands Club believes that bigger is always better. That\u2019s exactly what they did with the re-launch of The Galley yesterday morning, with the establishment increasing in both size and menu.<\/p>\n<p>Yoshihito Shibahata, general manager of PIC, said, \u201cThe Galley used to be your basic coffee pickup site with some snacks. Now, we extended everything to have a full service restaurant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The newly improved restaurant will now be open from 6am to 12am.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe restaurant is open for as long as possible so if any of our guests ever need anything, they can just pick it up in here,\u201d Shibahata said.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Ryan Jimenez as well as Fr. Romil Aperocho gave ceremonial blessings during the relaunch, while Marianas High School\u2019s Rhythm and Harmony made a special appearance to perform for the attendees.<\/p>\n<p>The Galley now has a brand new kitchen in the premises and an extended eating space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to serve more items for guests. We expanded the menu to include a variety of different dishes in comparison to small snacks. From cheeseburgers to pizza, customers can expect to be presented will an assortment of freshly warm food,\u201d Shibahata said.<\/p>\n<p>Brad Ruszala, executive director of sports, entertainment and activities for PIC, said, \u201cThe work has been going on for about a month and a half now, resulting in an expanded kitchen, eating room, and an improvement on all merchandise available for customers.\u201d <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently, Pacific Islands Club believes that bigger is always better.
