{"id":243457,"date":"2016-12-29T06:06:11","date_gmt":"2016-12-28T20:06:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=243457"},"modified":"2016-12-29T06:06:11","modified_gmt":"2016-12-28T20:06:11","slug":"peers-family-mourn-wonenbergs-passing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/peers-family-mourn-wonenbergs-passing\/","title":{"rendered":"Peers and family mourn Wonenberg\u2019s passing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recent passing of Northern Marianas College art instructor Barry Wonenberg has left family and peers emotional during a wake held yesterday in his honor at the Borja Funeral Homes.<\/p>\n<p>One of Wonenberg \u2018s former students, Rep. Ed Propst (Ind-Saipan), was one of many that was saddened by the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was a dear family friend. He was also an instructor of mine all the way back in 1989 and 1990. I worked for his wife, Maggie Wonenberg, at the English lab at NMC back then.
